Back in 1996, nearly 30 years ago Clark Fulston our managing director had featured in a newspaper article to discuss the impact electric powered vehicles and forklifts would have in the materials handling industry in the years to come. Now 28 years later the sales of electric powered forklifts are still increasing. Here at Ful-Ton forklifts we have always believed that electric forklifts are very efficient and are convenient to operate. Meaning we support the increase of electric forklifts throughout the market. In the industry we have gained an immeasurable amount of knowledge as we’ve serviced and maintained electric forklifts for over 40 years. Giving us first hand experience over multiple decades meaning we have followed the significant advancements which have taken place to the evolvement of electric forklifts.
At Ful-Ton forklifts we believe the future pathway in the materials handling industry will still be lead by electric forklifts for decades to come and it will continue to grow. As in recent years the sales of electric forklifts have significantly increased within Europe. Resulting in over 60% of forklifts being purchased today are electric. In the published article it discussed the gradual evolvement of electric powered vehicles and not only are they beneficial for the environment they are now very technologically advanced. So far it has been reported that within the jump from 2025 to 2030 the global forklift market is to increase by 13.7%
